Small Animal Bandaging Angel

Shelly has been an RVN since 1999 and throughout that time has worked in a variety of settings ranging from referral hospitals, mixed animal practice. Shelly has lectured at colleges and venues across the UK both for the VWL, Bandaging Angels and in her own right having been regional BVNA coordinator for the Devon region. Shelly is presently a head nurse at a busy mixed animal practice in Devon. Hands on nursing is Shelly's passion and following completion of a BSAVA merit award in Canine Rehabilitation she also began studying the Delving Deeper into Wounds Certificate being one of the first to take the course. Shelly has a real enthusiasm for wound care and bandaging and is proud to be a Bandaging Angel providing CPD and in house training for practices in the South West. Shelly strongly believes that nurses should be supported to carve themselves a role in practice as a wound nurse or similar being able to provide first class care and increasing job satisfaction. Shelly is the proud owner of a Boston Terrier and a French Bulldog, and a very naughty ginger ninja in cat form. All are little monkeys!!
