Our Telemedicine Case Support service gives you affordable Specialist advice quickly and remotely, providing support from submitting the case, until the wound is closed. One to one help for less than the cost of a bandage!
No two wounds are the same and every case we see is different. Our Telemedicine Case Support allows us to work closely with you, from start to finish, offering different treatment options, providing support and evidence to aid your decision making and build your confidence. We do not offer a “diagnosis”, but rather a collaboration in the decision making process.
You do not need to be a member of The Veterinary Wound Library to benefit from Telemedicine Case Support (although our members receive a generous discount on the service as part of their membership). Our team of Specialists are here to support and advise on any aspect of wound management and surgery that will help you resolve any challenge across small animal, equine and exotic practice. Be it surgical technique, dressing selection or low cost closure options.
- Fill in our Case Support form. Include as much detail as possible and plenty of images of the wound
- We will assign your case to the most suited Specialist, who will contact you directly, shortly after
- Once assigned to your case, our Specialist will advise and support your decision making with the best available resources and evidence. They will continuously work with you based on the outcomes and updates you provide; from submitting the case until the wound is closed
- Working together, we will help you learn from your own case in order to help you get the best possible outcome for the patient and client
