Fiona Leathers

I qualified as an RVN in 2002 and currently work as a Clinical Nurse Manager in a busy, first opinion small animal practice. I am passionate about promoting veterinary nursing to the general public and teaching student nurses. I am also a huge advocate for CPD for nurses - I was the BVNA Regional Co-ordinator for Scotland for 9 years and now also run our practice Journal Club. The highlight of my career was in 2017 by being awarded two prestigious awards - The Blue Cross Vet Nurse of the Year & the Llewellyn Gardener Vet Nurse of the Year. I completed the Delving Deeper into Wounds Certificate in 2017 and I am delighted at becoming a Bandaging Angel!​
