Lisa qualified in 2010 from Edinburgh Napier University and became an RVN in a general practice in West Lothian for 6 years. 5 of these years were spent as a Head Nurse of a branch practice. In 2016 Lisa joined the Hospital for Small Animals at Edinburgh Vet School surgery department as a surgical nurse. In 2017 she became the lead surgical ward nurse and has since been mentoring veterinary nursing students and providing education within the University. Lisa completed the Delving Deeper into Wounds course in 2017 and has always had a passion for wound management and bandaging. Lisa assists in the treatment of many interesting and challenging wound management cases and enjoys getting creative when bandaging or applying dressings! When not in work Lisa will be in a muddy field competing her two dogs in agility!
