Georgie Hollis BSc, Founder & Director of The Veterinary Wound Library and Bandaging Angels is delighted to have received the support of Vets4Pets Learning Academy to provide our in house Bandaging Angels CPD to Vets4Pets practices.

'The Veterinary Wound Library (VWL) are very pleased and proud to be working with Vets4Pets Learning Academy to provide our in house Bandaging Angels CPD. The support of the Learning Academy means that any Vets4Pets practice can book our in house CPD centrally using their CPD allowance to benefit from an independent product review, team training and membership of the Veterinary Wound Library specialist support service.
We know how valuable our services are to our members in terms of demystifying wound dressings, reducing bandaging complications and advising on challenging cases. To have what we do recognised and supported by Vets4Pets at this level is a huge accolade for us and recognition of the valuable service that the Veterinary Wound Library and Bandaging Angels team can provide."

What does our VWL Bandaging Angels CPD involve?

The Bandaging Angels are a team of specially trained nurses who have been developed by Georgie Hollis to support the role of the Veterinary Wound Library. The team now 10 strong, visit practices where they independently review current wound dressing choices, or bandaging technique tailoring a 2 hour CPD for the whole team to the needs of the practice. The aim is to help clarify the role of dressings for wound management and to reduce the risk of bandaging complications. The final step of a Bandaging Angels visit is the most important. Your Bandaging Angel nominates a wound nurse who will be given a year's membership of the Vet Wound Library so that the practice can get specialist telemedicine support and ongoing support throughout the year.

If you are a Vets4pets practice and wish to book your in house CPD then please contact the Vets4Pets Learning Academy team who will make the arrangements for you.  learning.academy@vets4pets.com
