The following terms and conditions apply to the Veterinary Wound Library.
- Product name and description. The Veterinary Wound Library (“Database”) is an electronic database of wound management case reports and trial dressings for use solely by subscribing veterinary professionals ("Subscribers") for the purposes of development of skills and knowledge in animal wound management.
- Producer and Owner. The Database is produced and wholly owned by Georgina Hollis of Intelligent Wound Care, 93 Back Street, Garboldisham, Diss, IP22 2SD. ("Owner").
- Availability. The Database is made available via the World Wide Web to subscribing individuals (“Subscribers”). Access to the Database is provided to authorized, IP addresses by password authentication. The Owner makes all reasonable endeavours to provide access to the Database on a 24 hour basis. If routine computer hardware and database maintenance or any circumstances beyond the control of the Owner cause interruption of service the Owner will restore access to the Database as soon as reasonably practicable.
- Users. Users are required not to share passwords or other login information with others.
- Site restrictions. A subscription to the database is regarded as personal license under these terms. Access is permitted for a single user. Remote access is only permitted to users as defined in Paragraph 4, whose access is channelled through an authorized IP address.
- Subscription Options. Online access to the Database is available only to fully paid up, current subscribers. Subscriptions are available as online-only access.
- Cancellation.
- Members that cancel, at any time, will lose all access to the Database via the Owner’s World Wide Web server.
- The terms and conditions of Paragraphs 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11 shall survive termination of this licence.
- Copyright. All information available in the Database is the copyright of the Owner. Subject to the provisions of Copyright Law the use of material supplied by the Veterinary Wound Library is limited to viewing, downloading, temporarily storing and printing by authorized users. Authorized users are prohibited from improper or unauthorized use including reproduction, copying, downloading, storing, broadcasting, transmitting or recording by any means in any form or through any media. On submission of cases and photographic material you agree to release copyright to the library, free of charge, for use as a whole or in part for future works. References to the provider will be given where possible, but can not be guaranteed in all circumstances. Authorized users shall take all reasonable endeavours to maintain the security and integrity of said material.
- Abuse of Trial Materials, Non-qualified use and Incomplete Reporting. The Owner reserves the right to cancel or refuse renewal of membership and /or limit access to the trial dressing database should abuse of the system be implied or suspected. This may be construed as unjustified over-use, repeated excessive ordering, non-qualified use of products or use without provision of a complete case report. The Veterinary Wound Library assumes that those trialing products are suitably qualified to use them clinically. The Veterinary Wound Library considers that it has gone to every effort to ensure only qualifed personel are supplied products for trial. Any non-qualified persons knowingly using the trail dressing system for clinical purposes will be considered to be doing so illegally.
- Breach of Terms. The Owner will notify a Subscriber, individual, network, or institution it believes has materially breached the terms of this agreement and allow them 10 days to resolve the problem. If the situation is not remedied in that time, the Owner reserves the right to refuse access. The Owner reserves the right to refuse access immediately to any Subscriber, individual, network or institution whose misuse of the system jeopardizes its ability to provide service to its other customers.
- Liability. The Owner makes no warrants, guarantees or makes any representation regarding the accuracy, completeness, correctness, reliability, currency or otherwise of the information or search tools contained in the Database. The Owner shall not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to any person as a result of use of the Database or of the information contained therein.
Cases and Trial dressings made produced and made available through this web site for use and interpretation at your own risk and clinical judgement should take precident.
The Veterinary Wound Library endeavours to ensure that all the products made available through the wound library are CE marked and in line with British Pharmacopea standards for use in wound management. However, the Veterinary Wound Library takes no responsibility for adverse events, issue with quality, appropriateness for treatment, or availability in respect to these products. In addition The Veterinary Wound Library takes no responsibility for misinterpretation or misapplication or any clinical complications thought to be attributable to the use of these products sourced through the Veterinary Wound Library. Consent. It is the responsibility of the subscribing clinician to ensure that appropriate, written or verbal consent has been given by animal owners or otherwise prior to clinical photographs and completion of case reports through the library. No responsibility will be taken by the Veterinary Wound Library for any disputes in this regard.

You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. We will not ask you for your password.
